Merrily We Edit Along

Busily scheduling posts for “An Orc for All Seasons” to publish, and along the way doing some final editing. Right now we are scheduled through October, so the story should be fully complete before the end of the year. That is the good news. The bad news is that the second book is even longer. Want even more bad news? I haven’t completed the third book yet, and have barely planned anything beyond the bare elements of the fourth, and final book. I know, you just shut your brain off upon hearing the term “first book”, and are now looking at finding something else to do.

A good story takes time to reveal. And so does this one. I think you will enjoy the directions this story takes, though. It probably doesn’t follow the track you think it will, and that should make the conclusion that much more delicious. If it doesn’t, at least you have a couple of years to lower your expectations. How low? Somewhere above “Twilight” and probably a notch below “Harry Potter.” I’m not aiming that high, really. Because once these are all out there, I’m not sure what the heck to do next…
