Only three more chapters to go and we’ll be seeing the conclusion of “Slinker, Slayer, Kobold, Squire” and that can only mean one thing: a new book! Luckily we have one all queued up and ready to roll out. There might still be some glitches in the writing so we’ll be looking for those and getting the posts scheduled.

Our upcoming story hasn’t got any direct link to anything thus far published (at least to begin with), but you will perhaps see a familiar face. For those that are immersed in the game that we are currently playing the main characters in this next story will seem horrifyingly familiar. At last everyone will have a chance to take a look behind the curtain and see what the backstory is to some of the biggest events in the game over the last couple of years. There is also a chance to perhaps understand why a villain does what they do. What is the antagonist’s rationale for their behavior? What motivates a monster to find new and more effective ways of being monstrous? Is raising an undead army really that naughty?

The answer to that last question is always yes. I’ll leave it up to you to determine the answers to the others. Of course you have a few weeks to wait to begin your pondering.
